Fireplace
This fireplace needs doing too.
I want about 50-60 pretty tiles, which I'm planning to cover the exposed brickwork with, inside the wooden surround. I'll also make a 'mantle place' tiled enclosure in front and I really need to incorporate some kind of fireguard because it's in the living room, where the young children spend a lot of their time:
Ideally I'd like one of these:
... but they are a bit pricey.

So now I'm thinking: where to get metal rods... what sort to get... how to build it...
I reckon some serious web browsing is needed. And I'm sure we'll have a book on it somewhere! LOL
